Your NextPDF account (app.getnextpdf.com)
At a glance
Section titled “At a glance”Your NextPDF account lives at app.getnextpdf.com. It is where you manage everything after you have a licence: sign in, sign the licence agreement, install, review your licences and invoices, manage your subscription, start a trial, and delete your account.
It is a different place from the two you use to get a licence and to learn the engine:
- Pricing and Buying and licensing — how you obtain a licence.
- This documentation — how you use the engine once it is installed.
The portal is also where your install lives. The guided install flow at
app.getnextpdf.com/account/install
shows your install for every edition, and — for the paid editions — tracks the
server-observable milestones as they happen: for Pro and Enterprise, once
your delivery channel is set up, it issues your Composer tokens, generates your
composer.json, and serves your signed licence file; Core installs directly
from public Packagist with a single composer require. The Composer mechanics
for the paid editions are documented in
Install and authenticate.
Section titled “Sign in”Sign in at app.getnextpdf.com with the email address you used at checkout — that becomes your login. Sign-in is handled by WorkOS, so there is no separate password to set up with us.
Activate by signing the licence agreement
Section titled “Activate by signing the licence agreement”A licence is activated once you sign the NextPDF Commercial License Agreement (v3.0) in your account. This matters especially for the signed-source delivery channel, where the readable source is released only after the agreement is signed. That agreement is the EULA; the two-contract purchase model is explained in Buying and licensing.
What you can see
Section titled “What you can see”Once you are signed in, your account shows:
- Install — the guided install flow for your edition, with its setup steps
and — for the paid editions — your Composer tokens, generated
composer.json, and signed licence file. - Licences — each licence’s edition, status, included capabilities, scope, and validity.
- Orders and invoices — issued by our Merchant of Record for your purchases.
- Subscriptions — your active plans and their renewal state.
The specific plan, term, and pricing that apply to you are set by your licence agreement, not by this page.
Start a free trial
Section titled “Start a free trial”You can start a 14-day free trial from your account — the same trial offered on the marketing /try page, just from a second entry point. It is one per email, carries no charge today, and does not auto-renew; the card is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. The full terms are the Trial terms, and the evaluation experience — the removable watermark — is described in Trial and evaluation branding.
Manage your subscription
Section titled “Manage your subscription”Billing and subscriptions run through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Update your payment method or cancel from the receipt links Paddle sends you, or from the subscription view in your account. Refund and cancellation terms are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Delete your account
Section titled “Delete your account”You can delete your account yourself from your Profile. Your personal data is erased; the record that you signed a licence agreement is retained under legal hold, because we are required to keep that evidence. What NextPDF does and does not do with your data is described in Data handling.
Getting help
Section titled “Getting help”- Billing, invoices, payments, and refunds → Paddle, our Merchant of Record — use the links on your Paddle receipt.
